My fears about AP Euro this year is that I will get completely lost, not know what I'm doing and get way behind. Also, I am scared about the AP exam, even if it is like 8 months away. I feel like if I don't do well on it, my pride will be crumbled into a million pieces because I'm one of those people who stresses over getting good grades and freaks if I get anything below a B. Some of my hopes are to have some fun in this class. Ms. Osborn, you seem like a real fun, energetic teacher who enjoys her job so I hope some of that rubs off on me. Also I hope that I don't completely fail everything I do, because you know, I'm a perfectionist. Something I hope to gain from this course is to feel what it's like to take a college course so I have more experience with it in later years. I really am not all that familiar with European History except for very little knowledge about WWII. But that's what I took this class for of course to get more familiar with European History! Lastly, I don't know exactly what I'm looking forward to learning. I guess better studying habits would be one of them because what I do now might not get me through this class. But most of all, I'm looking forward to a great, successful year in and out of school! :)

My fears about AP euro would be not being able to keep up and not being able to remember everything that I need to. My goal is to gain more knowledge of Europe and become a better writer and test taker. I am really not familiar with any but World War 2. I am looking forward to learning about Greek culture and World War 2. I love learning about wars, they are defiantley my favorite because I like to see what the people are fighting over. Because sometimes it is really silly stuff, that does not seem like a big deal to us but it is a big deal to them.

Taylor Fitzpatrick block 2,

My fear would be falling behind in homework, and not being able to keep up with the pace. I fear that I will forget all my learning of what I have learned thus far. My hope for this class is to not only learn about European history but to get me ready for college , and to get me ready for real life. I'm pretty new with European history so this all new for me .that's why I think that I'm going to fall behind. I'm expecially want to learn about the black death and about world war 2. I find this things very intresting. I hope for the best with the course, and to do all that I can and give it my hardest.

My fear in AP Euro is that I will get lost or I won't be able to keep up and then I'll start to fail. I'll

feel like my whole world is crashing down. Everytime I get below a B I feel like I'm going to end up

failing the class and I get really hung up on it and I get stressed and start freaking out. I'm also afraid

to take the Exam and the Final. I'm afraid I will look at the content and my mind will just go BLANK. I do

have hope though, that I will pass this class with AT LEAST a B. I also hope to gain a lot of knowledge

about the problems that occured, the wars that happened, get a grasp on what college work may look like,

become more responsible, gain a better vocabulary, and become more efficient when it comes to note-taking

and test-taking. I'm a little familiar with some of the content we've already gone over, for example:

Alexander the Great, Greek Gods and Goddesses, the Egyptians and Minoans, the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers,

Mesopotamia, and a little (not much), about the Black Death. I can't wait to learn about the World Wars and

how Europeans run their governments compared to ours. I hope to have a great year with everyone in the

class and I'm looking forward to seeing what Ms. Osborn teaches us! Good luck everyone! :)

My fears are being completely lost through all of this year and feeling stupid when your talking about a lesson. My hopes are to learn all kinds of things about our early history.I have really liked the renaissance era since my first trip to the renaissance festival. I think that era will be fun to learn about. To tell you the truth i am not very familiar with any European History. I don't know if we talk more about it, but in the writings packet; the werewolf story was pretty cool. i really hope we talk more about that.

This year, my fears include getting lost in the readings, and not fully understanding what the readings are saying. When i don't fully understand something, i freak out and re read it till i comprehend what i am reading. I am also one of those people who freaks out when i get bad grades.

As for the knowledge, i would just love to learn more about Greece. Greece is very interesting to me.

I am very familiar with Greek and Roman religion. Other than that, I do not know European History very well. That is one of my hopes for this class is to learn and gain more understanding about this topic. I do find European History to be interesting though!

Last but not least, my hope for this class is to learn and have fun!

What scares me the most about AP Euro is the homework load and keeping up with it. I am terrified that I will get behind and not understand anything for the rest of the unit. Honestly, I am scared that I will let my parents down and not pass the AP Exam this spring. I am hoping that I will be able to relax and learn more than to freak out and cram, too. I hope that this class will entail some useful life lessons, as well as an understanding of the effects of Europe's history on my everyday life. I am familiar with some Greek and Roman history. I'm also familiar with a lot of World War II history, but mainly from the US standpoint. I'm really looking forward to learninng about the renaissance and more about Europe's take on World War II.

I have many fears about AP Euro, but they mainly revolve around stress. I stress out very easily and have had many meltdowns in years past. I am really nervous that I am going to fall behind on homework or forget an assignment at home, and it have a major impact on my grade.I am also nervous that I am going to stress myself out over one bad grade and then lose focus or stress over the next assignment. From this class, I really hope to maintain good grades, do my absolute best, develop better time management skills, and ultimately, earn college credit at the end of this school year. I really hope to gain a better understanding of European history, and not just memorize, but actually learn the material. I really don't know much about European history. Just about all I know is what I have learned in church or by reading my Bible. I am looking forward to learning how European laws, successes, and tragedies have effected the laws, principles, and way of life here in the United States.

My biggest fear is not doing as well as I have anticipated from not understanding the big words. My hopes for this year is to get at least a B in this class and pass the AP Exam. I hope to have fun and get an idea of what college courses may be like. I have little familiarity with World War I, World War II. There are a lot of things to learn in this course and I look forward to learning about each of them.

My biggest fear for AP Euro is I will miss a day of school and wont know what anybody is talking about. This year I hope to learn a lot about the European history and learn how some things we do are because of them. The only things I'm familiar with are the World Wars. I'm looking forward to learning about Rome and Greece.

My biggest fear about AP Euro this year would be the AP exam. I'm nervous for the test because I feel very pressured to do well. I'm also afraid that I will get completly lost and my grade will drop. I hope to pass this class with at least a B, hopefully an A. I hope to gain more knowlege about history in general. I'm not very knowledgable when it comes to history. I also need to become a better writer. I am fairly familiar with World War one and two. I'm looking forward to learning about Italy and how the society was developed.

My biggest fear in this class is falling behind and not completely understanding the topic being discussed. I hope to learn a lot more about how our country was influenced by European countries. I'm not very familiar with any European history other than Greek mythology and I have a pretty good understanding of the bible. I'm looking forward to learning more about the renaisance and other cool history.

My fears about AP Euro is that i will fall drasticaly behind, and bomb like all of the tests. My hopes are that this class will be fun, Ms. Osborn you seem like one of those teacher that can make whatever your teaching interesting.I hope to gain better test taking and essay writing skills. I'm kind of familiar with World War 2. I'm looking forward to learning about their cultures, to see what elements of theirs have lasted into ours.

My main fears about AP this year is not being able to keep up with all of the homework. I feel like i will forget about an assignment one week and I will fall behind and not be able to catch up. My hopes are that I will do well in the class, and learn a bunch of cool, new stuff. I hope to gain a lot from this course. I hope that I will broaden my knowledge of the history of our world and learn interesting stuff that will help me as a person later on in life. I am familiar with the history of Sparta and Athens. I have no extreme knowledge of one certain area but I know a little in most groups of history. What I am most looking forward to this year is being able to endulge myself in the lessons and become interested in what you are teaching. I feel as if I am interested in the class then the homework and in-class assignments will come much easier and be more fun!
